introThe "Finisher" column was the first game introduced into the ENDORPHINUM ezine. It's a simple Original vs. Fake image type of game where you have to compare two images and find five errors within the manipulated one.
It's not that hard, but a good time waster.

So go on and ask yourself: AM I ABLE TO FIND THE FIVE ERRORS !?

This month's marathonista is Brigid who finished the Twin City Marathon that is known as the "most beautiful urban Marathon in America".  Within 5:16:04 she finished the 42k meters and if you check her other photos, she realy looks so fresh after the event like that she could run a few kilometers more without a problem.
Congratulations from here Brigid!
On this image you see her right after the race together with her husband Jon.

Jon, Katie and I celebrate after all. We just finished the Marine Corps Marathon in Washington, though we all smile,, after sitting down at the finish I found that i really couldn't move and I wasn't sure how I was going to get up.
But like Joe Cocker once sang: "With the help of my friends" everything went fine and i am so glad of their support - i would like to thank Sherri for the gummy bears :)

The picture is my training partner and me finishing a 45 Km mountain run in the Blue Mountains near Sydney. The website is www.sixfoot.com - It is a long and historic trail called the "6 foot track" that climbs and descends 1500 meters along the way. It was our first time and we had trained pretty hard for it... we were two happy finishers !

This is a photo of four people from Oskaloosa Iowa USA, who all finished the Grandma's Marathon in Duluth MN on June 16th 2007.
From left to right they are, (Me in the red shirt - this was my second marathon), Kim Haines in the sun glasses this was her 13th marathon, Lind Adams this was her 4th marathon, and my wife Robin Hammann this was her 1st marathon.
The 31st Grandma's marathon featured over 6700 finishers. After the race, many of the runners gather at Lake Superior to enjoy a soak in the lake. The water is cool and helps with some of the post-race soreness.

0706The photo shows Hélène Franchineau after finishing the 2007 Great Wall Marathon in China. The 42.195 Km included two stretches of about 9 Km each on the Great Wall itself. The rest in the countryside. About 1.300 runners - a lot of americans, some south africans, australians, mexicans, dutch, danish british, a few  french ... and even four goats and an olympic female mountain biker from New Zealand. We all started at 7.30 in the morning and seven hours later, Hélène aka Shanghaiist completed the race, with sore legs and sunburned shoulder.
